After you rescue the hostages Goblin will shut off all the lights in the Carnival. Head to the creepy looking clown face toward the end of the area. When you near it a cutscene will trigger. When the cutscene ends you'll be in a first person fight with Goblin. Dodge his attacks and counter until he lets you go and runs off.
Chase after him and you'll find up inside a circus tent. Again the lights will shut off. When they turn back on you'll be attacked by a large group of goons. You'll see an opening in the tent.
Exit and proceed up the stairs into the stairs. Goblin will flee into another clown head at the end of the area, leaving you to rescue some more civilians and sneak through another pack of goons.

Fireworks will fire off periodically and can expose you if you're not careful. When you've rescued all three civilians they'll help open up the clown door at the end of the area. Make your way to it and head inside. You'll enter a room ringed with clown doors. The room will start filling with gas. Quickly start trying the doors. If you pick the wrong one you'll take damage.
Look for the door with the fastest eyes to spot the right one. If you die, you'll respawn in the same place. Once you've picked the right door you'll drop into a contorted hallway. Make your way down, it being careful to avoid the steam jets that shoot out of the walls/floors. When you reach the end a cutscene will trigger. When it ends you'll be up against some goons.
The room here is distorted in a similar manner to the hall, making things annoyingly woozy. Fight your way through the trippiness. After you finish decking these guys, a doorway will open up one the wall. To get to it however you need to crawl up the wall itself. This would be easy enough except Goblin has rigged up a pair of spotlights that patrol the way up to it.
If you're spotted you'll be shot with something that will obliterate a huge chunk of your health bar. In other words, you need to be fast and accurate with your wall crawling, something not made particularly easy by the game's camera. Nonetheless you should be fine. The door leads to another twisted hallway.
Same drill as before avoid the steam jets and make your way to the end. You'll enter another room filled with clown doors. The gas is hissing, meaning the clock is ticking. Quickly find the door as you did before. When you pick the right one you'll be dropped into another room which in turn leads to another fist fight Goblin.
Once you've knocked a few of his teeth out he'll toss you down a garbage shoot. Boss Battle Goblin After your little Ferris wheel rescue you'll be in sight of another clown door. Make your to it and after a brief fireworks show you'll be up against Goblin. This is no little fist fight either! We're talking the real deal here.
When the fight begins stay on the defensive. Goblin is too strong to attack head on and will literally toss you around like a rag doll if you try. Rather, let him charge and attack you.
When he misses move around to his back and attack him. Don't stay too long though or Goblin will smash the ground damaging you. You won't do a lot of damage but it's enough to chip away at him. After you've taken off about a quarter of his health he'll shut off all the lights. When he does this you need to stealth your way into a position to hit him with a takedown attack. The best place to do this is from one of the trapezes hanging to the left and right of the area.
Shoot over to one and then bounce back and forth between them as needed to avoid the roaming spotlights. When Goblin comes into range, hit him. He'll turn the lights back and on and recommence the fight. Goblin grabs a nearby pillar to help bash in your skull.
It extends his reach a bit so be wary. He can also huck it at you if he gets the inclination to do so.
Even with this new tactic of his, attack him as you did before. Wait for him to smash the ground and then attack his back.
Beat him around a bit longer and he'll shut the lights back off. Just repeat your stealth battle plan from earlier, shooting from trapeze to trapeze and the performing a take down when he enters range. The fight will enter its final stage.
Goblin's health should be down to a nub now. To spice things up he calls in a good twenty goons to help pummel you.
Taking this many thugs down while also dealing with Goblin is nigh impossible. Instead, let Goblin do the work for your. Even as his lackeys attack you Goblin will be hot on your heels. Direct him so that when he attacks he's near some of his goons. He'll hit them by accident, knocking them out instantly.
After you've cleared out the thugs, finish Goblin.
